Divine intervention

We get exactly what we need, at the right time. Can you see it?

I had planned a different post for today, evidently God had other plans. I talked about angels already this week- the ones you can see. What about when things just “work out”? Are there angels in play? Probably. Who points us in the right direction? Read on and you decide.

Yesterday, on the way home from an appointment, my engine light came on, so I drove straight to the mechanic to drop off my car. I called my neighbor to come pick me up and she arrived before me. Something was indeed broken and it was fixed today. A year ago, I would have worried about the bill, but God has kept my rainy day fund funded and I am grateful.

Last weekend, I went to a mass that remembers children that have passed. My friend organizes it and was a little disappointed that there were not a lot of people there. When we were cleaning up after, a lady walked in and my friend explained about the mass, and she looked very touched. She said she and her daughter had both lost children. She then explained that she has never been to that church and she just had a feeling that she needed to go. Coincidence? I think not.

Last spring, the company I work for was going through some changes that I thought may not include me, so I was looking for a job. I was not finding one and was not sure what was going to happen. Suddenly, my boss asked for a meeting and offered me a role change at my company that was exactly the kind of job I had been seeking. I changed roles but not companies. Was that just good timing?

You can call it what you like when serendipitous things occur in your life. Some people tell me that things only work out for me and not them. I don’t agree. I think it’s working out just as it should, and we should see it for what it is, divine timing.
