Dear Lord,
I come before you today with gratitude in my heart. I am grateful that I woke up, that I could get out of bed, for my warm house, a yummy breakfast, and people that love me.
May the work I do today either in my home or at my jobs bring you glory today, Lord. May all my interactions today be infused with your grace and allow your light to shine through me to all I encounter.
When I feel frustrated, stressed, or irritated today, I will remember that you probably often feel that way and your reaction is to extend grace and mercy. May I be more like you today. When I fail at that, may I be quick to forgive- others and myself.
Guide my steps today, show me where I need to go, what I need to do, and how I can love others better.
